Be Salt of the Earth, Light of the World (Mt 5:13-16)

With heartfelt gratitude for God’s abundant blessings and the dedicated service of our past and present educators and leaders, our school proudly celebrates its 45th Anniversary this year. 

In milestone tradition, the sapphire represents a 45th anniversary. Formed under immense heat and pressure to achieve remarkable hardness and enduring, brilliant shine, this precious gemstone symbolizes our school’s unwavering resilience, our continuous pursuit of academic and holistic excellence, and the rich wisdom cultivated over nearly half a century of nurturing and guiding learners.

Grounded in this proud legacy, the theme for our anniversary celebration is "Let Our Story Shine." Rooted in Jesus’s call to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, this theme celebrates both our collective journey and the unique individual stories of all Shunleers. We believe every Shunleer carries a God-given spark waiting to be ignited. Our commitment remains steadfast: to empower every student to actualize their potential, discover their unique gifts, and make a meaningful impact on society, ultimately bringing honour and glory to our loving God.

To mark this Sapphire Jubilee, a series of memorable events has been planned throughout the academic year. We warmly invite primary students and parents to join us for our Information Day cum Campus Tour, where they can explore our vibrant learning environment. Together, we will gather in prayer and thanksgiving at our solemn Celebration Mass, reconnect across generations at the grand Gala Dinner organized by our Alumni Association, and applaud our students as they showcase their talents on stage during our spectacular Variety Show.

As we celebrate this 45-year milestone, we honour the visionary educators who laid the foundations of our school. With faith, hope and love, we look to the future with confidence as we illuminate the path towards our most glorious chapter yet.
