School Reopening Mass

On September 2, 2026, the Shun Lee family gathered in the School Hall for our School Reopening Mass. Teachers and students joined in prayer, offering the year ahead to God and seeking His blessings for a journey filled with faith, wisdom, and grace.

We were deeply honored to welcome our alumnus, Rev. Lin Ruo Qi Joseph, who was ordained as a priest in June, to celebrate the Mass. Fr. Lin shared a touching reflection on his vocation, recalling how he faced self-doubt and wanted to give up on his dream during his secondary school days at Shun Lee. Through prayer, he found the strength to persevere on God's path.

Reflecting on the Gospel of Matthew (14:22–33), Fr. Lin reminded us of Jesus reassuring His disciples during the storm on the Sea of Galilee: "It is I; do not be afraid." He urged all Shunleers to cultivate resilience against life's challenges, confident that the Lord is always walking beside us.

As we begin this new academic year, may our heavenly Father grant us the grace to stay steadfast in faith, resilient in spirit, and ever mindful of His loving presence.
