About 30 S1-S5 students participated in the "JC SMART - Scientific Methods for Achieving Reduction Targets - Southeast New Territories Landfill Visit Activity," (賽馬會「零廢‧綠校園」廢物審計及教育計劃 -新界東南堆填區參觀活動) organized by Green Power (綠色力量). During this visit, students learned about the operations of the Tseung Kwan O landfill, the process of handling construction waste, and the restoration and greening projects for old landfill sites. The students were actively engaged and gained a new understanding of landfills.
