Global Essay Competition of St. Gallen Symposium 2022

Date: 31/05/2022

Our alumni, Kelly Lau Ka Yu (2015) entered the Global Essay Competition of the 51st St. Gallen Symposium 2022 and her essay was selected by the Symposium as one of the top 100 contributions.

Her essay on sustainable finance, “Beta Migration - Incorporating green investment into the default option of pension plans”, discusses a concrete proposal in channelling more financial resources to the investments that can strengthen climate resilience and achieve carbon neutrality.

Kelly was invited to host a one-hour workshop on a critical review around the topic in Switzerland in early May, where she presented her ideas with 200 Leaders of Tomorrow all over the world.
